According to the talking of Economic Deputy of Aras Free Zone 18,000 hectares of the lands in this zone are ready to transfer investors. The Public Relations and International Affairs of Aras Free Zone Org. reported that Iraj Hatami, the director of economic deputy of Aras Free Zone Org said: All agricultural lands in Aras Free Zone are 25,000 hectares and 18,000 hectares are active. He expressing that of course small parts (10 hectares) of these 18,000 hectares lands is ready to transfer, added: 1,000 hectares of the 25,000 hectares will be provided until end of the year for preparation and delivery, and 2,000 hectare in Jolfa section is under construction to prepare for cultivation. Hatami said: 140,000 hectares of the lands of Jolfa are ready to transfer for mud house cultivation and in Qoli Baiglu section 18,000 hectares of the lands in this area is ready to transfer investors. He added: In this regard, Aras Free Zone Org. Agricultural part and East Azarbaijan Regional Water Office formed the agreement of steering committee to transfer agricultural lands of Aras Free Zone between foreign investors for distribution high-tech production and productivity. By entering capital into the country we could also exceeded the specter of domestic capital and benefit their technologies. Hatami acknowledged: Aras Free Zone is climatically a component of prone areas in agriculture. Various products are grown in this zone such as: apricot, cherry, grape, almond and peach in garden section and pharmaceutical, oil seeds and fodder in arable section. |
